This event has been held since 1998 and brings together navies and the main leading companies in naval industry technology. The organization of the XIII International Naval and Maritime Exhibition and Congress for Latin America, Exponaval, confirmed the participation of SAES from Spain in the next edition of the Chilean fair to be held from December 3 to 6, 2024 at the Terminal de Pasajeros Puerto Valparaíso. According to Exponaval’s Linkedin account, Fisa’s general manager, Rodrigo Lobo, and the GL Events team, participated in the 24th edition of the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) show, an event organized from September 12 to 15 at London’s Excel exhibition center that brought together more than 2,800 defense and security companies. Within the framework of DSEI 2023, a fair supported by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom and UK Defence & Security Exports, the executive met with Alejandro Rojas and Julian Valdez of SAES, Spain’s leading company in underwater acoustics and electronics, who confirmed their presence at Exponaval 2024. Rodrigo Lobo and his team also visited European companies such as Aselsan, Hensoldt, MBDA, NVL B.V & Co. KG and Thales Defence, among other important companies. A unique event in Latin America Exponaval is a biennial international event organized since 1998 that brings together marinas and the main leading companies in the development of technological solutions for the naval and maritime port industry in Chile. Its objective is to reaffirm the important role of the naval industry in Chile; to showcase local developments of goods, products and services oriented to this sector; to introduce new technologies not available in Chile; to exchange experiences, technologies and international developments with local agents; and to deliver effective solutions to Latin American navies.
