Saab is a leading defense and security company with a constant mission: to make it easier for countries to protect their people and society. Thanks to its 18,000 talented employees, Saab is continuously overcoming technological barriers to create a safer, more sustainable and equitable world. Its track record positions it as a trusted supplier, with extensive operational and integration capabilities at an efficient cost, as well as a highly beneficial technology transfer package for military operations in challenging environments, whether in the air, on land or at sea. This is a key feature of the solutions and products that Saab and its specialists will be showcasing – at Stand #A072 – to its customers, partners and industry friends from several Latin American countries at Exponaval 2022, an event of which the Swedish company is also a sponsor. The company will present some of its latest developments related to naval platforms such as the advanced A26 submarines, as well as the renowned IC16-20 and CB90 fast interceptor boats in several of their versions. Visitors will also be able to learn more about its naval sensor portfolio, which includes the CMS 9LV combat management solution, EOS500 and CEROS200 electro-optical systems, state-of-the-art Sea Giraffe surveillance radars (1X, AMB, A4) and ESM/COMINT electronic warfare systems for ships and submarines. Also, the company will have the opportunity to showcase its latest developments in the areas of training and simulation, in addition to its anti-tank systems for land forces. “Saab’s product portfolio in maritime surveillance and naval warfare is part of our solutions to make society even safer. We are confident that our solutions can contribute to increasing the capabilities of the region’s navies at a reduced cost. We also believe that our willingness to transfer technology and local partnership can contribute to the development of the regional defense industry,” says Tristan Lecrivain, Head of Saab’s Regional Sales Office for Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.
